My Story

In August 2020, I should have been riding in the 2020 Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, a 100-mile ride through London and Surrey.

When I signed up to this challenge, I could never have imagined that a global pandemic would cause the event to be cancelled and make the money raised even more vital to The Mintridge Foundation, who I am raising money for.

The Mintridge Foundation is a charity that harnesses the power of positive sporting role models. They achieve this through taking athletes and sportspeople into schools to highlight the positive impact of exercise on physical and mental wellbeing and to develop confidence and resilience. The importance of this has been highlighted further during the lockdown.

This year has been extremely challenging for many charities, with hundreds of mass-participation fundraising events being cancelled. Events such as these are a lifeline for many charities, funding the good work that they do.

Therefore, over the weekend, I completed the 100 miles over two days across the Northamptonshire and Cambridgeshire countryside. I had wrongly been informed that Cambridgeshire is flat... it is not!

Please help me reach my target, to help them to continue their incredible and invaluable work.
